Gun Laws of America
May 4, 2006
(From a single newspaper on two days: Arizona Republic, 4/28–29/06)
The lamestream media told you: Spanish language radio stations have recorded and are airing a Spanish language version of the Star Spangled Banner, with a different title and new lyrics, which has inflamed some right-wing supporters of America.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Members of the Spanish reconquest group, The National Council of The Race (La Raza in Spanish), which is described as a non-partisan civil rights group but whose name is never translated in lamestream reports, supported the introduction of this attack on American values, furthering their efforts to re-annex portions of the American West to Mexico.
----------
The lamestream media told you: U.S. Marshals, in a plan that took months to organize, rounded up more than 9,000 criminal fugitives across the country.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
The fugitives have been living and operating in the country for years with little law enforcement attention at all. The roundup, which gives the impression that the authorities are good little boys doing something nice, leaves more than one frickin million fugitives still at large. No plans to go after the rest have been announced. How the backed-up court system would handle 9,000 new arraignments, or where the overcrowded prison system would house 9,000 new arrivals was undisclosed at press time. If the fugitives are released pending arraignment or disposition they are, well, fugitives again. No reports on their dispositions have been made because the media got no new press releases from the authorities in charge.
----------
The lamestream media told you: Mexico is sponsoring a "Buy nothing Gringo" day. This might hurt the very U.S. companies most supportive of amnesty.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
"Gringo" is not a term of endearment. It is Mexico's "N" word for white people.
----------
The lamestream media told you: Congress continues to make immigration complaints at itself along partisan lines, debating small details of extraordinarily complicated legislation aimed at dealing with its gross mismanagement of the southern border and illegal immigrants flooding into the country on a daily basis.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
The Minutemen, on duty in Arizona for the month of April, staffing an observation line only several miles long, have observed (final stats): 1,502 illegals marching through the desert, of which 520 have been captured by Border Patrol agents. This compares with sightings/captures in the October 2005 muster of 772/239. See more stats at http://www.minutemanhq.com. Once captured, the illegals are returned across the border, where they typically turn around and re-attempt illegal entry. According to the ACLU's Ray Ybarra, making these tired people attempt illegal re-entry could lead to deaths in the desert.
----------
The lamestream media told you: The Border Patrol has been catching an increased number of illegals slipping into the country across the Mexican border, with more than 577,000 caught in 2005.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
The Border Patrol's own estimates of effectiveness say between one and three illegals slip in for every one caught, meaning between a half million and 1.5 million illegals slipped in last year. The daily average, easily determined with a calculator but left out of the report is 1,580 caught daily and bussed back, and between 1,580 and 4,740 actual entries every single day. The effect on the environment and local communities was not mentioned. The massive daily numbers cast doubt on the Mexican government's claim that they do nothing to facilitate the invasion. Mexico operates the slow moving freight trains many illegals ride to within walking distance of the porous three-strand barbed-wire border fences, which the U.S. government has so far failed to repair. See pictures of the hopelessly porous border fence.
----------
The lamestream media told you: Hispanics across the country will continue to rally, boycott, march, hold prayer vigils, work stoppages and other civil acts to demand benefits of citizenship and recognition of rights they believe they should have by reason of being in America.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Few of the rights demanded are part of citizenship in the Latin American countries where they are still citizens. Meanwhile, illegal immigrants continue to jam the emergency rooms of hospitals across the southwest, on a 24-hour basis, seeking and receiving primary (not emergency) care, without payment or insurance coverage. Numerous hospitals have been shuttered, bankrupt, from providing the services to the illegals without getting paid. Of more than 100,000 who peacefully marched in Phoenix recently, only 112 registered to vote, despite numerous booths set up for this purpose. Organizers said it was because the crowds were too large (sic), but some observers suggested it was because so few of the demonstrators were actually eligible to register, a point that went unexamined and unreported. Fraudulent voter registration is a criminal act.
----------
The lamestream media told you: Senator Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), ranked recently as one of the top 10 Senators in Congress, faces a challenge from wealthy but unknown businessman Jim Pederson, who has put $2 million in seed money, from his own pocket, into the race at this early date.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Arizona's "Clean Elections" law, widely promoted by "news" outlets, was designed to keep money out of politics but is an abject failure as this story demonstrates. Any money raised by a candidate in a traditional manner is matched, and then handed to opposing candidates, from the public treasury, under the deceptively named "clean" election plan. No constitutional authority for such use of the public treasury can be found, but this did not stop courts from approving the scheme, or newspapers from making it clear to the public.
----------
The lamestream media told you: In a ghoulish scene, a man has been arrested for selling body parts stolen from the dead, which have caused infection in a dozen people and sent hundreds to doctors for tests.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Another 270 people died today, on average according to AP reports, from hospitals that make mistakes called medical misadventures (100,000 per year). Another 270 estimated people also died today (100,000 per year) from hospital-acquired infections caused by unsanitary conditions, according to multiple AP reports issued years ago and subsequently dropped from the news.
----------
The lamestream media told you: A federal study in 2001 required the Arizona Dept. of Transportation to consider multiple routes for its planned state freeway expansion. Voters had twice approved a desirable route through their cities. The new federally identified route will cost the cities an extra $1 billion.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
No constitutional authority can be found for the federal government to tell a state how or where it can build local roads within its borders.
----------
The lamestream media told you: Terrorists are waging terrorism with increased vigor. Terrorism victims are in the thousands and growing, and states that support terrorism are on the U.S. government's list of bad actors.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Muslim extremists are waging jihad with increased vigor. Jihad victims are in the thousands and growing, with no end to the jihad in sight. Although infidels were targeted in attacks in 2001, the jihad is now largely waged by Muslims (pronounced moose-lims) against other Muslims (pronounced muz-lums by infidels) on ideological grounds. No news on when this might focus back on infidels is available, though Muslims in New York demonstrated recently calling for mushroom clouds against local infidels. The ACLU has not called for hate-crime investigations against the Muslims advocating mass destruction. States that support the global jihad, called terrorist nations in the lamestream media, are all Muslim dictatorships. Cuba and North Korea, which are on the federal "terrorism" list, actually support global communism, and are mischaracterized, as they are not involved in, and do not support the global holy war of the Muslim jihadis.
