Because even the image of a gun is disturbing to a tax-funded Illinois school principal, Theresa Nolan, she wants to censor the image and use a logo of anything but a gun. "The amount of actual information on the subject of guns or the Bill of Rights leaking into her school's curriculum and her students' skulls is probably below zero, if she can't even put up a no-guns-allowed sign out of such dire dread," said one person who refused to be identified. No charges have been brought against the principal.

Such censorship and intolerance is frequently but incorrectly labeled political correctness. It is actually cultural Marxism, a political policy implemented through social means, designed to suppress or control speech and thought, leading to actual suppression through quasi-legal enforcement by police and courts. Hate-crime laws, campus speech codes and so-called social-justice policies are the growing judicial end of cultural Marxism in America. You should always call out cultural Marxism when you see it -- don't scoff by mislabeling it PC, that only helps it grow.

MONSTER GUN LOOPHOLE DISCOVERED

Felons aren't federally banned from owning guns.

They can't carry them in any way of course, or ship, transport, possess or receive them, but nothing in law appears to ban felons from actually owning firearms. If a person was convicted of a felony and owned an entire collection in a home in another state, for example, that doesn't violate anything.

You (a felon) couldn't go into (or maybe even near, depending on the judge) that home while the guns were in there, that would be "constructive possession," the same legal theory that makes everyone in a drug-lord's house guilty of possession if anything is found. But charging you with possession if you're in another neighborhood, or state? I don't think so. Show me where I missed something. Even in the same home, a spouse can keep guns -- even your guns after a conviction -- as long as you cannot exercise control over them. If your spouse sold any, I suppose that's your money.

What in federal statute prevents a felon from simple ownership? Not a thing. Could a person use such a collection as collateral, or will it, even sell it? It's just private property. The controlling statute is 18 USC §922(d) and (g), and its requirements seem pretty clear. Talk about strange twists in complicated laws.

VA To Get Huge Bucket of Money

The U.S. Senate has just agreed (June 5, 2014) to authorize $500 million to hire new doctors and nurses for Veterans Administration hospitals, because, according to ultra liberal senator Bernie Sanders, the VA simply doesn't have enough staff to handle the patients they have. Seems reasonable enough, except...

Why $500 million? The Senators don't know -- and don't care -- because it's not their money and they're incompetents deserving removal.

It's a nice round number. It's nice and big. It sounds pretty good. Someone picked it out of thin air. How much money is actually needed? They don't give a sh!t -- "At least we did something," they say, and in time for the evening news, who will swallow it, along with most of the public, without asking anything or thinking. Military "champions" like John McCain have been ignoring the complaints for decades, and now they're all blustery about it. What a deceitful sack of embarrassing unrepresentatives they all are, according to leading experts.

If it was a private business, the decision to hire people would be based on what's actually needed and affordable, not some grant of money in round figures with no attachment to reality, absolutely primed for waste, fraud, misuse, bogus allocations, lack of controls, and with as much oversight as the number itself. It's a federal fubar snafu waiting to happen -- before it's reallocated again, forever.

All bills for new taxes must arise in the House. Where this money might come from to pay for the Senate's largesse was unimaginable at press time. The federal government is broke and running on debt that can never be repaid. Have a nice day.

Congress shall make no law restricting a person who may drive an inexpensive car, watch an inexpensive TV or eat inexpensive food, from buying an inexpensive gun. It is the belief of Congress that a family living in a slum has as much right to protect itself as homeowners in suburbia. Racist measures seeking to allow only large expensive guns are a national disgrace.

I finally got the answer! After months of wondering and asking--

The man currently in the White House has flagrantly broken so many laws, and violated the oath of office so many times -- with 535 members of Congress, why hasn't one, not one, stood up on the floor of Congress, called him out on any of it, and sought his impeachment? Why?

Not enough Senate votes to achieve it? That's not an answer for why no one has officially broached the subject from the floor.

The best answer I've had until last night was horrifying. It came from one voice in the back of a room where I gave a speech. In a room full of blank stares from folks who hadn't a clue, he called out, "They're all in on it." The room fell eerily silent.

But that's not it.

Congressman David Schweikert, one of the most savvy members I've ever known, answered the question in public as he wrapped up a brilliant Q&A session led by Tea leader Francine Romesberg in Phoenix. It's because if we could impeach and remove Obama, what happens?

It puts Joe Biden in office.

Now, Biden's an idiot, that's widely understood inside the Beltway, and the media bends over backwards to hide his constant inanity. But he'd be an incumbent, and the money and power of that would be nearly unstoppable come 2016. That's Obama's ace in the hole.

"But Biden is a zero compared to Hillary!," I protested, and David agreed, but the power of the office is what counts, he said. And if Hillary didn't put up a credible challenge to incumbent crazy Uncle Joe for the top spot on the Dems ticket, Joe would just put her on as VP, and that's the end of any Republican chance. There was nothing left to argue.

So that's why not one out of 535 in Congress is willing to attempt to remove Obama at this point. It would hand the White House to the Dems come 2016. It's all about power politics, nothing else. Not law, not morality, not justice, it is Machiavellian. And although no one would voice it, if Hillary were cast into the number two slot, every conspiracy theorist who draws breath knows the stories of people who have conveniently disappeared under the Clintons' march forward, don't you.

The Obama administration's Environmental Protection Agency will reportedly require a photo ID for individuals as a condition to attend hearings next month on new carbon emission regulations that have been proposed in the name of fighting climate change.

This is notable if not ironic in that the Obama Justice Department is suing a number of states which have passed laws requiring American citizens to produce a photo ID to vote in a state or national election. A member of the public also needs a photo ID to enter the Justice Department headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The EPA explained that because the hearings are held in government facilities, the photo ID would required for security. Voting is also held in government facilities. Related questions about the government becoming an armed fortress instead of a servant of the people, and this becoming a cause for alarm among the public, were not asked.

According to the Inquisitr website, "Most (but not all) Democrats and their allied groups from the Obama administration on down consider government-issued photo identification, usually in the form of a driver's license, as a voting requirement, to be almost the equivalent of waterboarding."

Rhode Island democrats enacted a law to require voter ID to limit voter fraud (the reason for voter ID at polls), during the 2012 elections, and surprisingly, had no problems.

Photo ID in order to vote is the world standard on planet Earth.

Although FOX News picked up the story from The Blaze, as did Inquisitr, the other lamestream "news" sources didn't give it enough attention to make the front pages (plural) of Google.

5- Extremist Groups Rising -- But Which?

(CNN) -- Far-right extremist groups had been on the rise, particularly in reaction to President Obama's election in 2008 and the financial crisis around the same time. But now, hate group prevalence is taking a downward turn, according to a report released Tuesday. The number of hate groups declined 7% from 2012 to 2013, the Southern Poverty Law Center said in the report.

"We had four years of spectacular growth of the radical right," said Mark Potok, senior fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center. Now, it "seems to be turning a corner." It's unclear whether the decline will continue, Potok said. There were 1,007 groups in 2012 and 939 last year, but those numbers are still substantially higher than in 1999, when there were only 457 such groups.

The number of left-wing extremist groups is not being tracked by the SPLC, a radical left-wing group itself, despite presenting itself as a neutral analyst of hate groups and extremists. The corrupt "news" media covers SPLC as if it's a news source.

The FBI states leftist extremist groups "generally profess a revolutionary socialist doctrine and view themselves as protectors of the people against the "dehumanizing effects" of capitalism and imperialism." Mainstream economists agree income redistribution squarely fits this definition.

Such groups can sometimes be recognized because they also frequently champion causes including ecological extremism, racist civil rights, radical feminism, gay and other sexual-orientation belligerence, anti-defense positions, domestic terrorism, so-called "abortion rights," private property and wealth assaults, and they oppose banking and capital accumulation, corporate development, land use, business and natural resource development, profit motive, free enterprise, use of animals, while expressing hatred directed toward the RNC or individuals such as Rush Limbaugh or former president Bush (that's according to the DHS Office of Intelligence). Hard left ultra violent so-called "peace activist" attacks on law enforcement were reportedly stable for the year.

It became clear eventually that three people were shot on the far left side of the country, by one crazed madman, who first stabbed three people to death, then killed one with his car, before committing suicide.

Once again, we only glance over gun policy while dancing in the blood of victims, because anti-rights bigots -- and there are many in high places -- know that then emotions might trump reason and they will get what they want. That is, more power in their hands (they don't have to disarm) and less power in ours (we would in all sorts of creative ways).

If we looked at other times, we might deal with facts and reason and get somewhere -- stopping crime and balancing power.

So here's a completely fresh idea -- a thought experiment like what scientists use -- for ending crazed-maniac shootings in public.

Let's disarm all women -- that's half the population -- and see what happens!

That way, at least they can't shoot anyone. It's at least worth a try. We have to do something.

Our thought experiment demonstrates that this obviously won't work at all. But it does establish one critically important element we often overlook.

The problem clearly is not the fact that so many people have guns (about 300 million by some estimates, many of them women). Disarming at least half the public -- a massive, expensive (and unconstitutional) endeavor, will have zero effect, right?

You'd have to disarm the right half of the public! I'll get to the fact that the anti-rights people are crying out for background checks (not disarmament, so far), in a minute.

To fix the problem, then, it's obvious, you just have to disarm all the men! Hmmm. Now that's not going to play well at all either -- but for entirely different reasons.

So this brings us to the nub of the problem, and the end of the thought experiment.

This is not about background checks or registries or safety devices or gun types, is it?

You could do all that stuff to the female half of the country, and nothing would change. So maybe we could even leave them out of the scheme! It would cut the infringement by half. But if you try to single out the males, well, you can start to see why there is so much resistance, not from civil-rights groups, though they're in it up to their percussion caps, but from the body politic itself.

Laying entanglements over the entire United States of America, to stop a handful of psycho-maniacs who have only recently started acting out, is grotesque. That level of massive government infringement, to accomplish that admittedly important goal, is as astonishing and bizarre as most of what the NSA, or the VA, or IRS, or the BATFE (which would run this campaign) is up to these days. Do you really seek more of what they do? Is that how you solution this problem? Should we try it out on the women first and see, and then go to the good ole' boys?

That little thought experiment (a favorite tool of physicists) clarifies something. America has always been bristling with guns. Always. You used to be able to buy guns through the mail from ads in comics. It's true. I saw them when I was a kid. Guns were sold mail order by Sears, and cash-and-carry at hardware stores. We have heard the answers but we, especially the political left, don't like hearing them, and reject them or disclaim them:

The increasing coarseness of society in general. The constant drumbeat of acceptable mass murder in mass-market entertainment. The constant murders on TV at night. The promotion of copy-cat murder. Advertisement of psychotic murder in the so-called "news" media. The glorification of the perpetrators. The so-called "games" sold to kids to train them in how it's done, for home and portable use. The removal of religious morality in public that provided a yardstick, and would scold people for such immoral thoughts and behavior. The lack of father figures in homes. The broken homes from government dependence programs. The failure to discipline children. Punishment by the state for disciplining children, at home and in schools. Indiscriminate drugging using powerful psychotropic agents. This is a partial list.

Did I mention any you haven't already heard a bazillion times? Did you reject them all mentally, or did you embrace the list? Did you mentally fall back on the media's anti-rights mantra, we need to do something already -- like background checks...

But regarding crazed maniacs -- did you fail to think it through, just like them? Since that great background plan omits the 300 million guns people already have, how will this do something? Correct, it won't.

Do you remember when the media handler's holy grail was a magical five-day waiting period, which they've since abandoned? It was just as worthless/meaningless for solving the problem. Let people get guns in five days then hope they don't go postal for the rest of their lives?! Made no sense whatsoever. Cooling-off period for a psycho-maniac with guns? Only a mental case would bet on that. It's a thought experiment (again) demonstrating that the people suggesting these things cannot think clearly about the subject.

And do you even remember our real problem and real question here just five minutes later? Q: Why are people exploding in public and going on killing sprees? That's the question we have to answer.

Now, since we know people are exploding, and are getting tons of publicity for doing so, and since we know that nothing we do in the next 12 hours or 12 days or 12 anything reasonable is going to stop them or protect us in the mall, would you, yes you, want a gun -- if the guy next to you started shooting the people next to you? On my email list, I can a lot of sh!t yes.

What if it was a muslim jihadi who despises you and America, like the ones Mr. Obama just released, and he decided to bring the Nairobi mall strategy to a mall near you?

No? No gun for you? That's fine. I'm completely against forcing you.

What about me? That's for me to decide. If you want to decide for me, and insist that I can't be armed to protect myself -- that's an act of violence against me. You would be forcing me to be a potential victim, using law to enforce your will on me. You would deny me my firearm by force, it is not a voluntary thing.

I categorically reject any legal or moral grounds you may think you have to harm me that way. Even attempting to deny my civil rights in that manner violates federal law, dusty old laws that need refreshing, with your blood (it carries the death penalty if death results, 18 USC §241, 18 USC §242, et seq.).

Any effort to diminish or restrict my rights, as part of a $50 million effort by a rich guy (Michael Bloomberg) to harm a civil-rights group in Fairfax, Va. (the NRA, the leading gun-safety-training group in the world), is highly suspect if you ask me. Why does he mainly come out of the woodwork in the midst of tragedy? The federal gun-free school-zone law is a good thing. It was enacted in 1990, declared unconstitutional, then reenacted with a small change, and has been left standing since. Schools are so much safer because of it.

In other news, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, NSSF.org, reports that the latest Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax collection report released by the Treasury Dept. indicates gun and ammo makers reported $213.5 million in taxes for the 4th calendar quarter of 2013; up 22% over 2012.

In even bigger news, if you can consider paying tax big news, the 2013 annual FAET collections totaled $863,696,528 making it the highest year on record, beating 2012 by 34.1%, a stunning advance in economic terms. The lamestream media basically missed the story.

Re: Your questions about why our military bases are unarmed:

I was in the active Army and then the Reserves. You weren't. Sean Hannity wasn't either. The scariest time of my life was taking reservists from the inner-city of Chicago to the firing range for their annual marksman qualification. As an officer from a combat branch, I was responsible for the arms vault and for being the range officer on the firing range. We had a police escort out of the city so that the bros wouldn't tell their bros to hijack us. I prayed that once on the range, the enlisted personnel and officers from non-combat branches wouldn't shoot each other or me. There's nothing quite like seeing a "soldier" (hero? hahahaha!) from the Judge Advocate General, motor pool, mess hall, or finance branch trying to shoot an M-16 or .45 pistol. The women were even scarier.

I've read similar comments from soldiers in today's Army. It scares the bejeezus out of them to think that the many violence-prone dimwits in the military would be walking around armed. But, hey, it sounds great in the echo chamber of gun-rights advocates. All of us dwell in some echo chamber. The smart ones recognize when they do. Regards, Craig C.
