NOTICE: Your email company may be deleting my messages or blocking them without your knowledge. My last posting arrived blank at dozens of subscribers. They say it's routine, they do it for many reasons, some of which are really awful.
The only way to prevent this is to add my email address, and others you don't want to miss, to your email "White List." You need to figure out how to do that on your end, to guarantee you get emails you want, and prevent secret deletions. Do not unsubscribe if you get a mostly blank message. Alan.
I've created a special feature for the print media and broadcasters ("Page Nine" regardless of where or when it runs), that covers stories afresh, not the way news rooms typically flavor things. It would help reduce the distrust so many news consumers feel and could be the most avidly followed item you carry -- if you carry it. It certainly is well received by my audience.
This casual sample might make you say, "We'll NEVER run that!" but Page Nine is being built around ad revenues from clear-thinking mainstream businesses.

CORRECTIONS:
"GJ" correctly pointed out: "This dude didn't invent kevlar. He invented the bulletproof vest." Oooops, it's an error alright. "Not an idiot" elaborates: "Kevlar was invented by a woman working for DuPont, Stephanie Kwolek. Nice contradiction between the headline and the first sentence of the article." Others made similar observations so I once again confess, I'm only human despite the rumors.

The "Million Gun March on Washington" sent the Internet ballistic when first announced. Book publisher and organizer Skip Coryell was convinced to tone down the rhetoric for what is now The Second Amendment March on Washington, set for April 19. At least 38 states plan related rallies in their capitals, with a goal of all 50 states participating. You can help: http://secondamendmentmarch.com
There's probably wisdom in renaming the event, to cool some firebrands -- especially in a city that will arrest you on the spot for mere possession of an otherwise legal firearm.
But it's a crying shame we have to chain our speech in such a discriminatory, civil-rights-denial battle. Plans for empty-holster protests and other ideas are proceeding full steam, as this exclusive Page Nine insider report reveals, from one of the organizers to Skip (provided here with Skip's permission):
"Meeting went well. Had Peter O'Malley there from Staged-Right Productions. We drove around DC, scoped out the march site, attended the meeting, had lunch... the more I got to know him the more I like the guy. He was part of Bush's technical team for all of his events, and worked with Sarah Palin on quite a few of her events. He handles many, many political functions in D.C. and all over the U.S. I was glad to have him at the meeting with me, and it seemed to lend us more credibility in the eyes of NPS (National Parks Service, who coordinates events at the National Mall) because I think they see we are serious and have our ducks in a row.
"They just asked us what activities we specifically were planning, what speakers/performers were coming, if we planned any other movement within the city (marching), how we will identify our VIP's and others with access to certain areas and a few other questions. They seemed satisfied with our answers. We do not need another meeting with them.
"Peter will submit a detailed schematic of our rally with all of the equipment diagrammed on there, as well as a full equipment list for NPS. Once that is complete we receive the official permit for the event. Still need to contract out porta-johns, but otherwise, all the other basic needs are taken care of.
"Peter said that an HQ trailer could be arranged, but those tend to get pricey. The cheaper alternative is another tent, of course. We will already have tents for the information/donation/petition areas, the book sales, VIP tent (20'x 20'), and EMT/medical area. I would like to have coffee urns set up in the VIP tent. We will need a volunteer at the entrance to check for badges/passes to enter that area. As soon as I get some quotes on porta-johns I will put them on the site for people to 'sponsor a john'.
"Interestingly, at this meeting NPS told me that we COULD sell bumper stickers, as they fall under the category of literature. Go figure. NPS is going to send us a recommendation for where any charter busses could conveniently drop off attendees. DC Police is going to check into the legality of carrying "blue guns" and/or empty holsters. I don't see any ban on that in the law, but you know me -- I like to cover all the bases, every time.
"I was told by several DC residents that the weather then should be quite pleasant -- anywhere from 55 to 70 degrees and generally sunny. As you know, the week before is apple blossom festival, and there is a good chance the blossoms will be in full bloom when we are there. Peter said that the National Mall will still be PACKED on April 19th due to that festival, and we will likely get many passers-by joining our crowd. As you may recall, the Association of Cancer Researchers is also in town that week (6,000 strong), as well as the Tea Party stragglers. This could be quite big! All in all it went quite well, and I am resting easy tonight."

3- Right to Knives
The lamestream media told you:
Nothing.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
The right to own and use pocket knives came under attack, with an attempt to ban the importation of assisted-opening knives, which are the bulk of all pocket knives sold in America today. This was beaten back by grassroots effort and leadership from Knife Rights, among others (formerly United States Knife & Tool Association, http://www.kniferights.org).
New Hampshire is promoting a bill to make knife possession unassailable, but to make criminal misuse of a knife a clear-cut crime. That would correctly separate criminal activity from possession of private property, a model that would work well for firearms and all other legal property. Protection is definitely needed for knife owners, knife collectors and those in the knife industry. http://www.knifelawonline.com/what-people-are-saying.html
Arizona introduced a bill, the first in a series of national bills sponsored by Knife Rights, to preempt localities from passing a patchwork of knife bans and infringements on any sharp tools, recognizing that knives can be arms as much as any other personal tools protected by the Second Amendment. The Arizona effort, already approved by the powerful state Judiciary committee and a model for other states seeking to protect their rights, needs support, go here: http://bit.ly/Scvp9.

4- SHOT Show Spectacular
The lamestream media told you:
The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is spectacular. All the shows we cover in Las Vegas are spectacular.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
I spent four grueling days at one of the biggest commercial conventions held in the United States, the spectacular 700,000-square-foot SHOT Show (Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade) in Las Vegas. The lamestream media must have missed the memo. The trade press (gun, knife, hunting, wildlife, outdoors, gun-rights, CCW, accessories, optics, wild-game cooking, range owner, competitor, soldier of fortune, police, SWAT, military, counter-terrorism, etc.) sent more than 1,800 people to cover the show.
All sorts of amazing gear and people are at this annual, industry-only event, and the organizers, NSSF, know how to pick a location! In my case the show included (very short list):
--Enjoyed a brief meeting with friend Alan Gura, the lead attorney on the McDonald v. Chicago gun-ban case up for oral argument Mar. 2. at U.S. Supreme Court, and got some questions answered (L to R: Joe Tartaro (SAF), Richard Pearson (ISRA), attorney Alan Gura, attorney Larry Keane (NSSF), Alan Gottlieb (SAF);
--Found dramatic support for Constitutional Carry -- no government permission slip, tax, expiration date or rigmarole required for exercising the right to keep and arms, stay tuned as this becomes the next wave to sweep the nation; https://www.gunlaws.com/newstuff.htm
--Generated enthusiasm for National Training Week -- celebrate 4th of July week with fireworks -- and firearms in a day at the range, July 4 - 11 nationwide; https://www.gunlaws.com/NationalTrainingWeek.htm
--Spent lots of time with the leadership of The Million Gun March on Washington (now the Second Amendment March, April 19, see details at the top of this report); http://secondamendmentmarch.com
--Developed a very BIG break on rights restoration for people currently denied, with details learned at the FBI and ATF exhibits (I ran into the right attorneys there and got the right questions answered), which I'll be releasing as a Position Paper soon, watch for it;
--Ted Nugent told an overflow audience at the OTIS banquet to do two things to support our rights -- give money and support to gun-rights groups, and take someone shooting; Alan Gura made the same suggestions during his remarks at his crowded press conference attended by no members of the lamestream media;
--Hands-on gear you simply can't get elsewhere, like the picture of me at the top of this report with an RPG (which the lamestream media still thinks you can just buy at a gun show, or that Mexican drug cartels can sneak across the border from our gun stores), and this airsoft minigun which Erin Simpson is making look light (it's 28 pounds).
Realistic free-standing bad-guy targets from Holland in need of a distributor, they're hand painted so they have a real 3D look;
An "armored community relations vehicle" for a little town just south of me, where the average person is old enough for a pacemaker. Seems like a good use of tax moeny, eh?
Speaking of vehicles, here's a road sign from the law-enforcement section of the show;
The show had the usual amount of eye candy;
Speaking of eye candy, here's a nice matching set of Perazzi shotguns, which can be yours for a mere $405,637.00, yes, that's not a typo, Erin is wearing a red-and-white "Guns Save Lives" heart which so popular at the show it may be on its way to becoming the next smiley-face button;
And, when you're dealing with real bad apples and handcuffs aren't enough, just slip on a comfortable "divided handcuff muzzle," available with matching optional restraint belt, padded wristband and under-crotch sumo belt. What will they think of next.

5- State-O-Union Nonsense
The lamestream media told you:
Mr. Obama's state of the union address was this, it was that, it was another thing, he should have said this, he didn't say that, this was true, untrue, twisted, spun, deceptive, hope-filled, dope-filled, accurate, fair and balanced, blah blah blah.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Page Nine special guest columnist Craig Cantoni is the only one who got it right:
It's embarrassing to admit this, but the reason I haven't watched a State of the Union (SOTU) address in 20 years is that I'm a slow learner. If I had been a fast learner, I would have had my epiphany and stopped watching long before 20 years ago.
The delayed epiphany was this: that the SOTU is a charade put on by both political parties and the players in the audience, including members of Congress, the Supreme Court, the Cabinet, the head of the Federal Reserve, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the "news" media. All of them know that the SOTU and other solemn performances throughout the year are designed to distract citizens from the ugly truth.
The ugly truth is that the federal government is insolvent, meaning that it can't pay all of its debts, obligations, and promises. And it is insolvent because it is deceitful, dishonest, and corrupt. Everyone in the SOTU audience is guilty of a massive fraud. Instead of wearing expensive suits in a marble room, they should be wearing striped uniforms in a federal cell of bare concrete.
Their crimes are many. Let's look at the four most serious ones.
First, the official accounting books of the United States are cooked. The government's own auditor, the General Accounting Administration, has said so, but in nicer words. Among other cooking, the books don't account for all of the government's liabilities. A full accounting would show that the government's true indebtedness is nearly $100 trillion.
Second, the miscreants know that there is no money in the Social Security Trust Fund. They have been robbing the fund to pay for their salaries, their marble offices, their large staffs, and their jaunts around the world on military airplanes.
Third, they know that the Capitol Mall is a Potemkin village of monuments, museums, reflecting pools, and other tourist attractions. Behind the facades are huge, out-of-control, unaccountable bureaucracies, staffed with minions who, on average, are paid twice as much as the average American worker in a real job in the private sector.
If Americans wanted a real education about the workings of their government, they wouldn't come to Washington and visit the Smithsonian. They'd demand a tour of the Department of Agriculture, which is housed in a granite building just a rotten tomato's throw from the Mall. Three stories high, two blocks wide, and three blocks long, it is the most visible example of all that is wrong in Washington. Does anyone really believe that farmers wouldn't grow crops, food companies wouldn't process the crops, and supermarkets wouldn't sell groceries if the building were to be razed and the employees had to find real work?
Fourth, the biggest crime of all takes place at the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve. In a complicated shell game that the average citizen doesn't understand and the media doesn't illuminate, money is created out of thin air in these houses of ill-repute. Or to be more accurate, the fiat money of the national government is debauched in a sordid menage a trois for the benefit of the johns in the White House and Congress and their banker friends. In a very real sense, the johns are covering up their corruption with Monopoly money.
Since 1913, when the Federal Reserve was created, the purchasing power of the dollar has fallen by over 95 percent. When FDR abandoned the gold standard, the debauchment turned into a screw-the-public orgy that would make Tiger Woods envious. Later, all remaining spending restraint was removed when Nixon closed the gold window to foreign governments.
Unless the four crimes are soon stopped and punished, the U.S. will end up as just another country in a long line of countries that spent themselves to death with phony money.
I didn't watch the SOTU charade last night, but I know that President Obama didn't talk about any of these crimes. That's because he is a criminal like everyone else who was there.

6- Is Obama Lightskinned?
The lamestream media told you:
"In a discussion with authors of the book 'Game Change,' which recounts the 2008 presidential campaign, senate majority leader Harry Reid said he believed Obama would appeal to white voters because he was "light skinned" and did not speak with a "Negro dialect". Reid apologized for the comments when excerpts of the book were revealed and called President Obama, who has issued statements supportive of the majority leader," according to the Washington Post. http://tinyurl.com/ydd3rmn
A minor furor has ensued, with charges of racism, double standards and preferential treatment of the democrat power broker emerging everywhere.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
The important points here have nothing to do with double standards or racism. Of course there are double standards and racism all over this thing. Everyone knows that -- despite news reports to the contrary.
The important issue is that Harry Reid has no reason to apologize.
Harry Reid is correct.
Mr. Obama is light skinned, that's just a fact.
Mr. Obama does not speak with a Negro accent, that's just a fact.
Speaking facts is no reason for an apology and Republicans should be praising Reid for speaking the truth, not excoriating the guy. Think what THAT would do to the debate.
The Republican Party should not be demanding an apology and screaming about double standards. They should be thanking Reid for openly saying what everyone knows.
Mr. Obama is not black. He is mulatto. His mother was white. This is an important word, and though political correctness -- the underlying poison in all of this -- demands the suppression of many words, we should be able to call a spade a spade. Progressives are just too thin skinned. And too many conservatives are just too thick headed.
There are very few blacks left in America. You mostly see blacks when they are new immigrants from Nigeria or Cameroon or other nations where little racial intermixing has occurred. That's just a fact. The earthquake in Haiti has unleashed a flood of rarely seen black faces on American TV.
The well known Negro dialect, almost unintelligible to non-black ears when it is thick, is now more commonly called ebonics, a name given to it as far back as 1973. Ebonics is broadcast all day long on MTV and VH1. It is the heart and soul of rap and hip hop recordings. The grammar and usage of ebonics is simple to recognize, and Mr. Obama just does not speak it, that's just another fact.
When you reach the point when facts cannot be safely uttered, don't expect freedom to last very long. Thank goodness Harry Reid spoke the truth, and eternal damnation to those who would castigate him for it, and have forced him to recant.
Mr. Obama excused Reid, and said his choice of words was "inartful." Fine. What terms would be properly artful? Reporters failed to ask.
Perennial race-baiter Al Sharpton said it was "not the best word choice" without revealing what the best choice would be. Reporters failed to ask.
The United Negro College Fund could not be reached for comment about the Negro-accent comment. The long list of race-based groups Reid has reportedly apologized to does not include the United Negro College Fund for reasons that remain dark.

7- Haitian Money Giveaway
The lamestream media told you:
President Obama has pledged $100 million in aid to tragedy-stricken Haiti.
The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Does a president have legitimate delegated power to give away $100 million in taxpayer money, even in the face of an unmitigated natural and human disaster? Reporters should tell us, but they didn't ask. They just took the president's pronouncement and heralded it, without any actual reporting, continuing their migration from watchdog to lapdog.
Who actually gets the money? Did Mr. Obama even think about that before spending our hard-earned cash? Reporters should tell us, but they didn't even think to ask. Is it going to actual people in the hopelessly corrupt Haitian government, a government more corrupt than even our own? It's certainly not going to be rained down on the impoverished Haitians themselves from helicopters, is it?
Is the money in fact going to U.S. firms, as foreign aid often does? Are U.S. companies, on hearing the announcement, sending their best lobbyists to the right places to line up for the "federal funds" (the public's hard-earned tax-collected money), so they can deliver produce, canned soup, water bottles and plumbing contractors? Reporters don't even know that's how it works, so they don't even think to ask.
Will we even get followup stories to tell us if our one hundred million frickin dollars have been spent, and where, and for what? Don't hold your breath.
--------
8- The Wayback Machine
A pile of recently uncovered clippings reveal stories the Uninvited Ombudsman should have covered, and didn't for lack of time and too many things on one plate, but that's no reason to keep them hidden:
--
"Swiss voters overwhelmingly approved a constitutional ban on minarets on Sunday, barring construction of the iconic mosque towers in a surprise vote that put Switzerland at the forefront of a European backlash against a growing muslim population," according to the Associated Press on 11/30/09.
The only thing surprising is that this hasn't happened sooner, as the muslim plan for world conquest calls for fifth column actions by immigrants rapidly overpopulating and manipulating indigenous cultures into dhimmitude, or slavery (look it up). It is unknown if Americans will show the testicular fortitude of the Swiss, but one can hope.
--
--
"During a 12-month period ending in March of last year, the U.S. intelligence community suggested on a daily basis that 1,600 people qualified for the terrorism watch list because they presented a 'reasonable suspicion' according to data provided to the Senate Judiciary Committee," according to the Washington Post on 11/1/09. "The FBI indicated the list has 400,000 names, and each day considers 600 that should be removed and 4,800 that should be modified. Less than 5% of the people on the list are U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Nine percent are also on the government 'no-fly' list."
Anyone who thinks muslims are not out to get us only has to look at those numbers to recognize the scope of the problem, even if officials and the newspapers continue to avoid any adjectives but bland "terrorism." U.S. attorney general Holder has sought unbridled power to add anyone to the lists with limited oversight, sending gun owners into a justified frenzy because rights could be stripped away without a finding of guilt or their knowledge, especially by an AG who has shown complete disrespect for the right to keep and bear arms. That legitimate fear needs to be balanced against the massive numbers of islamists and other miscreants who seek to destroy us, and who need to be dealt with in the harshest terms, even if their underwear is not filled with explosives.
--
--
"Muslim Countries Seek Blasphemy Ban: Four years after cartoons of the prophet Mohammed set off violent protests across the muslim world, islamic nations are mounting a campaign for an international treaty to protect religious symbols and beliefs from mockery that would put them on a collision course with free speech laws in the West," according to the Associated Press on 11/20/09. "If ratified in countries that enshrine freedom of expression as a fundamental right, it would require them to limit free speech if it risks seriously offending religious believers."
This mindless report that suggests muslim terrorists can defeat free speech, and prevent criticism of their heathen ways, by enacting international treaties, is an insult to journalism. It's a wake up call to Americans and freedom lovers everywhere that the media may as well be in bed with the enemy, and the enemy is evil personified. If a real American had reported this story, it could have said, "The newly revealed muslim plan for islamists to shut down free speech with an international treaty, preventing criticism of the most vile pseudo religion on earth, was met with shock, anger and widespread dedication to armed resistance if such a blatantly tyrannical plan were ever attempted." --
